Blog Tag!! Tropical Tease!

It's Blog Tag Wednesday at the eVintage Society!. Summer is the perfect time to take a holiday to a tropical locale! Meanwhile, wearing Hawaiian and exotic prints in vintage can tide you over til you can afford that plane ticket. Let’s get tropical! I was tagged by Jen at Penelopepup's Vintage Blog for some island thoughts!

1) Show us your favorite Hawaiian or tropical print in your inventory!

Oh boy! At Purse Diva Vintage we've always specialized in Hawaiian vintage. We love everything, the dresses, shirts, jewelry, you name it. We've sold quite a few amazing pieces lately, but still in stock we have this incredible Waltah Clarke bold print shirt - it's incredible. Watercolor abstract mums is the best way to describe it.

We also have several incredible necklaces available, like this one:

and a darling babydoll puff sleeve dress -

2)Favorite era for Hawaiian? 40’s exotic gowns, 50s bombshell sarongs, 60s printed shifts or 70’s Hawaiian halter maxis?

Wow...that's a hard question! We really love it all, all eras. It's all good!

3)Favorite exotic destination if money were no object?
Fiji, for sure.

4)Favorite exotic destination on a real-world budget?
Bahamas!

5)Best vacation ever?

We took a 5 day cruise from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas a few years ago, returning to Florida the day before Hurricane Charley hit. We had no idea it was coming and no idea what to do. We ended up "stranded" in Florida for several days, and believe it or not, that's what made us decide to move there. We had the time to enjoy the town, walk around, investigate everything, much more of an opportunity to do so than we would have had. So see, sometimes, hurricanes can be good. :-)
